Dr. Rein grew up on a farm near Lanesboro, Minnesota where they raised Registered Angus cattle, hogs, and horses. He received his undergraduate degree in Animal Science from South Dakota State University before graduating from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in the spring of 2001. Dr. Rein practiced in Cashton, WI for 4 1/2 years before joining the Harmony clinic in 2006.​
Dr. Rein specializes in large animal medicine and surgery with an emphasis in dairy and beef production. A large part of his practice includes whole herd production systems, including reproduction, milk quality, biosecurity, young stock rearing, building and ventilation design, and records analysis. ​
In his spare time, Dr. Rein enjoys reading, music, farming and spending as much time with his family as he can.
Dr. Collins grew up near Alexandria, MN. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from South Dakota State University prior to graduating from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Dr. Collins joined the clinic in June of 2018.
Dr. Collins is a large animal veterinarian specializing in bovine reproduction, medicine, and surgery for both dairy and beef producers.
Jeff and his wife, Kelley, lived in eastern South Dakota for 15 years where he practiced veterinary medicine. They have six children and in their spare time they enjoy various outdoor activities as well as working with their own cattle herd.

Dr. Dennis Fischer

Dr. Fischer grew up in Harmony, MN on a family row crop farm where they also raised cow-calf pairs and horses. He received his Bachelors degree in Veterinary Science and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota. While attending college Dr. Fischer spent a tremendous amount of time at the Harmony Veterinary Clinic and other large animal clinics, along with helping manage the UMN Feedlot. Dr. Fischer specializes in large animal medicine, surgery, as well as reproduction for beef, dairy, and equine.
Dr. Fischer married his wife Mackenzie in September of 2025. Together they farm with his parents, Carl and Susan Fischer. In their spare time they enjoy being outdoors.
Dr. Taylor graduated from Iowa State University with her undergrad, then went on to obtain her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2019, also from ISU. She started at Harmony Vet Clinic in 2019 for 2 years, and has since rejoined us in June 2023. Dr. Taylor really enjoys internal medicine and healing pets. She also likes building relationships and trust with clients and patients through the management of chronic conditions. She currently has one dog, Lilo who is a French Bulldog, and one cat Mila. In her spare time, Taylor likes to read, work on puzzles, play recreational sports in the summer and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Jim Hanson is a part-time small animal veterinarian. He grew up in S.W. Minnesota on a small farm with a variety of livestock, horses, cats and dogs. His professional career includes working with cats, dogs, cattle, pigs, horses, commercial turkey farms, and farmed elk, deer, and bison. Dr. Jim has a special interest in small animal dentistry. He received his Bachelor’s Degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall, MN in 1989; and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993.
He has worked in veterinary practices in Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Texas. He served an 18-month Term Position with the USDA-APHIS Veterinary Services, and was the Resident Veterinarian and Lead Instructor at a Veterinary Technician College for three years. Dr. Hanson is also pursuing a Masters of Public Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.

Dr. Jillian Fisher

Dr. Jillian Fisher originates from a small town 30 minutes south of Boston, Massachusetts. She attended the University of Vermont where she graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in May of 2024 and joined the Harmony team that following summer.
Dr. Jill is a small animal veterinarian whose interests include preventative medicine and surgery.
In her spare time, Dr. Jill enjoys traveling, hiking with her rescue dog Jaida, reading, cheering on the New England Patriots, and spending time with friends and family.
